From Zero to Hero: How WTFund Empowers Young Entrepreneurs?

wtfund

WTFund (The Winning Together Fund) is a venture fund and community of investors that invests in early-stage tech startups. Nikhil Kamath, the innovative mind of Zerodha, shakes up the startup game with the launch of WTFund.

Intending to democratize investing, making it accessible for more people to participate in the exciting world of technology, WTFund goes beyond just funding early-stage tech startups  in sectors like SaaS, remote work, ed-tech, and more. They achieve this by providing a comprehensive support system that fosters a culture of risk-taking among young entrepreneurs, offering up to 20 lakh in funding to 20-30 startups.

This system doesn’t just offer money; it offers mentorship, brainstorming sessions, and even beta testing opportunities to help startups refine their products before launch. It’s a mutually beneficial arrangement where startups receive the necessary resources to retain while maintaining complete ownership (100% stake) of their companies. Meanwhile, investors seize the opportunity to participate in pioneering ventures.

During the podcast with Mensa Brands’ Ananth Narayanan, Kamath proudly mentioned, “At WTFund, we aim to develop a culture that encourages young entrepreneurs to take risks by providing a comprehensive support system. We are excited to launch the fund and see where it goes.” The fund, called WTFund, was formed during the same episode along with Future Group’s Kishore Biyani, and House of X founder Raj Shamani.

The Winning Together Fund has successfully invested in almost 9–10 companies in its seed fund in the first round. In addition to WTFund, Nikhil Kamath recently partnered with other firms to launch a new consumer-focused fund and invested 100 crore in gaming startup Nazara Technologies.

The Winning Together Fund understands the struggles of young startups. Young entrepreneurs under 25 can apply for WTFund’s investment, mentorship, and resources on their website. Any tech start-up can apply for funding, and the application link is provided on Nikhil Kamath’s podcast channel.

WTFund is not just about money; it’s about empowering young entrepreneurs to chase their dreams fearlessly. With a commitment to supporting and nurturing innovation, WTFund is paving the way for the next generation of groundbreaking startups. Whether you’re a young entrepreneur looking for investment or an investor looking to be part of something extraordinary, WTFund is the place to be.
