Baking time: 30 – 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • Flour – 2 ⅓ cups
  • Sugar – 1 ½  cup
  • Milk – 1½  cup
  • Vinegar – 1 tablespoon
  • Cocoa powder –  ¾ cup
  • Baking powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Baking soda – ½ teaspoon 
  • Yoghurt – ½ cup
  • Olive oil                    – ½ cup
  • Vanilla extract         – 1 tablespoon
  • Butter                      – ½ cup

Mix and whisk

Step 1: In a container, add milk and vinegar as per the quantity mentioned above. You would notice that the milk has curdled. Keep it aside for 5-10 minutes. (MILK-VINEGAR MIXTURE)

Step two: In a bowl, through a sieve, add flour, cocoa, baking powder, and baking soda. They are your dry ingredients. Mix it and keep it aside. (DRY INGREDIENTS)

Step 3: Using an electric beater, beat the butter, sugar, and yogurt. Pause. Repeat the whisking with olive oil and vanilla essence until it turns creamy. (WET INGREDIENTS)

Step 4: Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients at regular intervals using the cut and fold method.

Once all the mixture is in one bowl, whisk it until all ingredients are combined to form the perfect creamy batter. 

Step 5: Grease your baking mold with butter/oil or use baking parchment paper. 

Step 6: Pour the eggless cake mixture you prepared into the baking mold and give a nice tap so that there are no air bubbles.

(DRY INGREDIENTS)

Step 2: In a bowl, add caster sugar, oil, curd, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Mix well until combined.

Step 3: Mix the dry and wet ingredients until combined perfectly, and then add milk.

  • Oil – ¾ cup
  • Buttermilk – ½ cup
  • Coffee powder(Optional) – 1 teaspoon
  • Water                    – ¼ cup
  • Vanilla essence     – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt                        – ¼ teaspoon

Mix and whisk

Step 1: In a bowl, mix sugar, oil, buttermilk, and vanilla essence. Combine it well.

(WET INGREDIENTS )

Step 2: Through a sieve, add flour, cocoa powder, coffee powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix it well.

(DRY INGREDIENTS )

Step 3: Mix both dry and wet ingredients and make a perfect batter for your eggless cake. When the batter becomes thick, pour some water and mix well.
